Every property owner in the HPP area is eligible to subscribe as a member, which allows you the statutory right to vote on matters pertaining to HPP.

Register to become a voting member of the HPP NPC
HPP is a registered non-profit company. In terms of the Company’s Act (2008), HPP has to maintain a member register.
Every property owner in the Hermanus Special Rating Area (HSRA) is eligible to subscribe as a member, which allows you the statutory right to vote on matters pertaining to HPP.
Should you wish to become a member, we kindly request you complete the application form below.
Once we have your contact details, HPP will be able to communicate with you on public safety related issues.
Declaration by Applicant
I, the undersigned, hereby apply for membership of Hermanus Public Protection NPC (“HPP”) in terms of its Memorandum of Incorporation and request that my details be entered into the Company’s Membership Register.
I acknowledge that, in accordance with the Companies Act, 2008, the Membership Register must contain prescribed information in respect of each member. I further acknowledge that such information is regarded as confidential and will not be made available to any person, including other members or third parties, without my prior written consent, unless disclosure is required by law.
I consent to HPP communicating with me by email and/or WhatsApp for purposes of notices, correspondence, and official communications, unless I notify HPP in writing of an alternative preference.

Applications for membership of Hermanus Public Protection NPC are temporarily closed.
Membership applications will reopen after the conclusion of the AGM scheduled for Thursday, 4 September 2025.

Notes:
• Existing members’ status is unaffected.
• New applications submitted before reopening will not be processed and should be resubmitted once applications reopen.
